It’s been a rough couple of weeks on the campaign trail for Donald Trump.
First, there was his awkward Joe Paterno shoutout during a speech last week in Pittsburgh. Then came an more regrettable mix-up when the Republican presidential hopeful mistakenly referred to 9/11 as “7/11,” while also getting a little carried away with Rex Ryan’s accomplishments.
Trump’s latest verbal flub came Wednesday, when he asked the crowd at a rally in Maryland how much it loved Tom Brady.
That question typically elicits a big cheer in New England. In Baltimore Ravens country? Not so much.
