Isaiah Thomas is a very good basketball player, so it’s hard to criticize his shot selection. But his shirt selection is a different story.
The Boston Celtics guard arrived at Philips Arena on Tuesday ahead of his team’s Game 5 matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, and the team’s Instagram account snapped a picture of his outfit. We’ll just say this: It’s unique.
Here’s another look at the shirt, whose manufacturer apparently ran out of plaid while making it.

Thomas certainly isn’t the first NBA player to roll in with a ridiculous outfit — he still has nothing on Russell Westbrook — and we suppose when you’re the NBA’s postseason scoring leader, you can wear whatever you want. That said, we’d kindly recommend a different shirt for Game 6.
