Robert Downey Jr. didn’t bat an eyelash at Danny Amendola and might have even looked away when he saw the New England Patriots receiver.
In an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Downey Jr. told Kimmel on Wednesday he didn’t care that Amendola came to the world premiere of “Captain America: Civil War” as a guest of star Chris Evans.
Evans snubbed family members and invited Amendola and other Patriots players to the event, instead. Amendola accepted Evans’ invitation and appeared to enjoy his time on the red carpet Tuesday.

Downey Jr. plays Iron Man in “Captain America: Civil War,” but he seemed equally comfortable playing his role as a real-life New Yorker when talking about the Patriots.

There’s no need to guess who won’t receive an invitation to next year’s Super Bowl.
