The world lost a musical genius last week when Prince died at the age of 57.
Prince, a Minnesota native, was a huge fan of the state’s sports teams. The Minnesota Twins lit up parts of their stadium with purple lights a few days ago to honor the famous musician, and now the Minnesota Wild will pay tribute Sunday afternoon.
Some of the seats at the Xcel Energy Center are colored in a special design to recognize Prince during Game 6 of the Wild’s first-round Stanley Cup playoff series against the Dallas Stars.
