Ryan Mason doesn’t seem to have any problem locating his pitches.
The senior starting pitcher for the Cal Golden Bears was in the bullpen Friday for the team’s Pac 12 game against rival Stanford, and he pulled off a mind-boggling trick shot. One of his teammates threw a cardboard tube not much larger than a baseball in the air, and Mason absolutely nailed it.

Mason has enjoyed plenty of success on the field, too, as he’s 6-2 with a 2.69 ERA and two complete games in 11 starts and 67 innings. But we’d have to imagine he’s not upset his 15 minutes of fame came from the broadcast capturing his incredible feat.
