Conor McGregor: ‘Nobody Gives A (Expletive)’ About UFC 200 Without Me

Conor McGregor is good at tooting his own horn.

The UFC featherweight champion no longer is scheduled to fight at UFC 200 in July, as company president Dana White pulled him from the event after he refused to participate in a press conference leading up to his rematch with Nate Diaz. White since has replaced the McGregor-Diaz bout with a main event between Jon “Bones” Jones and Daniel Cormier, but McGregor doesn’t see UFC 200 as having its same luster if he’s not involved.

McGregor drove home that point with an expletive-laden Instagram post over the weekend.

“Nobody gives a (expletive) about these other fights until this one is settled,” the caption reads. “Cut the (B.S.). Run it back. #RealFight”

The fun didn’t stop there. McGregor also did a little self-promoting Monday on Twitter while engaging in some back-and-forth with fans.

UFC 200 is expected to be a huge event. But as huge as it would have been with McGregor-Diaz II on the card? Not a chance, if you believe The Notorious.
