The Boston Celtics shocked just about everyone when they selected Guerschon Yabusele with the No. 16 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, including Yabusele.
Yabusele, a 20-year-old stretch forward from France, was asked if he was expecting to be drafted by the Celtics as high as he was, and his answer was a resounding no.

The good news for the Celtics is Yabusele shot 42 percent from 3-point range and tallied 11.5 points and 6.8 rebounds in 28.7 minutes per contest this season for Rouen, a French club team. But The Vertical also is reporting Yabusele likely is a stash-and-dash player, meaning fans will have to wait a bit to see him in green.
Maybe the shock will wear off by then?
