The Memphis Grizzlies aren’t ready for a breakup.
Mike Conley is set to become an unrestricted free agent July 1, but the Grizzlies are pulling out all the stops in their effort to re-sign the talented point guard. Even Justin Timberlake, who’s a minority owner of the Grizz, has joined the cause by appearing in an emotional tribute video.

The Grizzlies tweeted a link to the video Monday and Timberlake shared it, adding in his two cents along the way. The mini film called “Our Conductor” was directed by Craig Brewer, who also created a short film last year to convince All-Star center Marc Gasol to re-sign with Memphis.
Gasol ended up staying with the Grizzlies last offseason on a five-year max contract, so it makes sense that Memphis is going back to the video tribute well with another one of its franchise cornerstones.
