Many eyes will be on Milwaukee Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy as the 4 p.m. ET non-waiver MLB trade deadline approaches.
The veteran catcher is batting .299 with 13 home runs and 50 RBIs, making him one of the best hitters available on the trade market.
One team with reported interestĀ in Lucroy on deadline day isĀ the Texas Rangers.
The #Rangers keep plugging away on Lucroy, but #Brewers might have to lower their expectations if something is going to get done today.

The Rangers aren’t on his no-trade list, which is good news for Texas — just ask the Cleveland Indians.
The 8 teams Lucroy can block a trade to: #Indians, #Tigers, #Angels, #Twins, #Athletics, #Padres, #Mariners, #Nationals.

The Rangers have a pretty comfortable six-game lead atop the American League West, but upgrading their catcher depth and talent with someone of Lucroy’s caliber certainly would be a huge boost to their postseason chances.
