WWE SummerSlam 2016 Results: Charlotte Shocks Sasha Banks For Women’s Championship
Charlotte entered SummerSlam on Sunday night hoping to become a two-time WWE women’s champion. With the entire crowd behind her opponent, Boston’s own Sasha Banks, Charlotte accomplished her goals in a shocking ending.
It was a grueling match, lasting more than 15 minutes with momentum swinging back and forth, though Charlotte seemed to hold an edge the entire time.

Sasha took control late with this surprising counter, though. Banks even had Charlotte in her signature finishing hold, The Bank Statement, but Charlotte managed to roll her over and pin her for a three-count to reclaim her title.
