Cam Newton wore what he has to say about hot-button social issues on his sleeve Sunday.
The Carolina Panthers quarterback wore a shirt bearing one of Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous quotes during warmups prior to their Week 3 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Newton’s attire fit the mood of the game, which took place amid ongoing protests in Charlotte, N.C., against last week’s police killing of Keith Scott. Some protesters demonstrated outside Bank of America Stadium on Sunday, as Newton led the Panthers onto the field for the first time since Scott’s death.
Earlier in the week, Newton spoke out against violence, and his MLK shirt seems to reinforce his message to the public.
