FOXBORO, Mass — The New England Patriots’ secondary will be down two players against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Rookie cornerback Cyrus Jones and defensive back Justin Coleman both areĀ among the Patriots’ inactives for their 1 p.m. ET game against the Bengals at Gillette Stadium. Linebacker Shea McClellin, running back Brandon Bolden, linebacker Jamie Collins, defensive tackle Vincent Valentine and tackle LaAdrian Waddle also aren’tĀ active.
As NESN.com Patriots insider Doug Kyed pointed out, the Jones decision isn’tĀ shocking after he was ejected from New England’s Week 5 win over the Cleveland Browns. Coleman being inactive for the second straight week, however, is a different story.
More surprised to see Justin Coleman inactive for a second straight week than Cyrus Jones. Jones was predictable after the ejection.

That means Eric Rowe will make his Patriots debut Sunday afternoon.
The Bengals also have announced their inactives.
