The Dallas Cowboys had their annual rookie team dinner earlier this week at a local steakhouse.
Judging by the tab, it seems they had quite a bit of fun. The final bill was $54,494.59.

There currently are nine rookies listed on Dallas’ active roster, highlighted by quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott. The bill split nine ways comes to about $6,054.95 per person, which isn’t too bad, even for guys on rookie salaries.
Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant was stuck with a large tab at his rookie dinner in 2010, and he was not happy about it. Fortunately for the Cowboys, it doesn’t sound like there were any issues this time around.
Dallas has a Week 7 bye before returning to action in Week 8 against the rival Philadelphia Eagles.
