Former Super Bowl-winning quarterback Joe Namath was watching his New York Jets play the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, and he couldn’t understand why Geno Smith wasn’t playing quarterback after suffering knee injury.
If you've got a right knee injury keeping you out of the game why are you standing on the sideline the entire 2nd half? How bad can it be?

Smith hurt his knee while being sacked in the second quarter. He left the game, and the Jets him out ruled out shortly after. Ryan Fitzpatrick, who was benched and replaced by Smith entering Week 7, came in and led the Jets to a 24-16 win.
Smith didn’t back down from the criticism, and he fired off this tweet following the game.
Somebody tell Joe that the doctors have the final say on whether you can or cannot get back into the game…… and also that I love him!

The quarterback position has been a mess for the Jets all season long, and Namath’s tweet certainly didn’t help the situation.
