Max Scherzer’s Wife Almost Threw Away Pitcher’s Jersey From Second No-Hitter

Max Scherzer gave everyone a lesson in organization Tuesday.

The Washington starter has been enjoying the offseason since the Nationals were ousted from the postseason at the hands of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Division Series, but he had a pretty scary moment this week. Scherzer tweeted that he found the jersey from his second no-hitter in the trash.

Erica May-Scherzer called it a “wife fail moment” on Twitter, but we’re not too sure she should be taking the blame. There are some questions for Max here, like where was the jersey that she thought it was trash, and why would one of Scherzer’s two no-hitter jerseys just be lying around instead of on display, or at least nicely folded?
