Dwyane Wade’s wallet is about to take a hit.
Wade, who made his regular-season debut with his hometown Chicago Bulls on Thursday, broke the hearts of Boston Celtics fans with his dagger 3-pointer with 26.3 seconds remaining in the Bulls’ 105-99 win at Allstate Arena. But it’s what happened after the shot that has everyone talking Friday.
Wade celebrated the shot by turning and making a throat-slash gesture.

He since has apologized, but the NBA announced Friday that it has fined Wade $25,000.

I wanna apologize to my young fans on my gesture at the end of last nights game. I was caught up in the emotions of my first game at home.

Wade had quite the debut, scoring 22 points with four 3-pointers, but that fourth one is going to cost him.
