Terry Francona is under a lot of stress right now.
The Cleveland Indians manager has led his team through a dominant postseason run, and the Tribe entered Sunday just one win away from its first World Series victory since 1948 with a 3-1 series lead over the Chicago Cubs. So, it’s not necessarily very surprising that Francona had trouble sleeping before Sunday’s Game 5.
What is surprising, however, is how Francona tried to combat his insomnia.
At 3:30 am, Terry Francona ordered $44 worth of ice cream from room service. He said life was not fun from 5-7 am.

Ice cream is the perfect treat when it comes to eating your feelings, so we really don’t hate Francona’s strategy here. His bosses have a much healthier method for managing their stress, though.
