Ben Roethlisberger Rips Into Steelers After Fourth Consecutive Loss

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been a disappointment lately, to say the least.

A trendy preseason Super Bowl pick, the Steelers lost their fourth consecutive game Sunday afternoon to the Dallas Cowboys, dropping to 4-5 and behind the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North standings.

There’s no one person to blame for the losing streak, but quarterback Ben Roethlisberger pointed the finger at the team’s collective make-up when talking to reporters after Sunday’s defeat.

“We are undisciplined and not accountable,” Roethlisberger said, per ESPN.com. “That’s why (the Cowboys) are one of the best in the business and we’re not right now.”

That’s an unfamiliar identity for a team that’s usually a top contender, and Roethlisberger didn’t have an answer for who’s specifically to blame.

“I don’t know. Is it players? Is it coaches? I don’t know,” Roethlisberger said. “But we need to get there quick.”

Roethlisberger and the Steelers have a good chance to get back on track in Week 11 when they travel to Cleveland to take on the 0-10 Browns.
