Pedro Strop had a pretty good week.
The Chicago Cubs pitcher celebrated a World Series win Wednesday, and had a nice ride to go home in. Strop’s modified 2015 Infiniti QX80 looks nice now, compared to what it looked like after a botched customization, according to TMZ.
Strop reportedly took his QX80 to a custom shop last year, and it was given a maroon paint job. Problem was, the front grille was “made of chicken wire” and the rims “looked like boat propellers,” according to a friend of Strop, via TMZ.
So, the 31-year-old took his Infiniti to a different custom car shop, which gave it a brand-new look.

The modified QX80 now dons a white paint job, with “Believe” on the front. The job reportedly cost $30,000, which will probably be paid off fairly quickly with his pending playoff bonus.
