De’Aaron Fox’s leaping ability isn’t as impressive as this story’s headline suggests.
But the Kentucky guard still jump with the best of them, as he proved Wednesday with a stunning alley-oop dunk in the Wildcats’ 101-70 win over Cleveland State.
Malik Monk passed the ball off the backboard to Fox, who leaped and slammed it home.

Upon closer inspection, we see Fox used the rim to pull himself above it and bumped his head on the backboard on his way back to the floor, per CBS’ Kyle Boone.

The alley-oop was part of a 16-point, 11-assist outing for the Kentucky freshman, who has been turning heads all season with his highlight-reel plays.
