The Detroit Lions are back in the NFC North division race after beating the first-place Minnesota Vikings on the road Sunday afternoon.
They won in dramatic fashion, too.
Lions wide receiver Golden Tate caught a pass on the sideline, showed remarkable strength and balance to break a tackle while staying in bounds, then ran into the end zone for the game-winning touchdown.

The score gave Detroit a 22-16 win and improved its record to 5-4 — just a half game out of first place. The Lions also have won four of their five games, while the Vikings have lost three straight.
