Ka’Deem Carey still plays for the Chicago Bears, although his helmet might suggest otherwise.

Green Bay Packers linebacker Joe Thomas hit Carey so hard Sunday, the “C” decal fell off the Bears running back’s helmet.

Officials judged the hit to be legal, and neither Carey nor Thomas suffered an injury on the play, accoridng to SB Nation’s Christian D’Andrea.

The frigid temperature in Chicago might have played a role in Carey’s wardrobe malfunction.

But blaming (or crediting) Thomas is a lot more fun on gameday.
