The Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams will simultaneously turn ahead and turn back the clock Thursday night.
The Seahawks and Rams will take the field in Seattle for an NFC West matchup, a game that’s almost certainly going to be a poopfest, especially given the betting line is up to 16 points and perhaps growing.
The real show, however, will be what the teams are wearing. Sticking with the NFL’s “Color Rush” tradition for Thursday night games, both teams will wear alternate uniforms … and they’re very different looks.
We’ll start with the Rams, who are throwing it back to their look from the 1960s and 1970s rooted in dark blue. The Rams tweeted this photo of the helmets they’ll wear Thursday night.

It’s unclear whether the Rams also will go with throwback uniforms or just their white set, but here’s what it might look like if they go all white.

While the Rams are going with the throwbacks, the Seahawks will don a futuristic neon green look. “Aggressive” would be an understatement.
In fact, the Seahawks have an entire website devoted to their “action green” look, which apparently also will include CenturyLink Field. And if that wasn’t enough, the team will hand out these towels to fans.
To celebrate our first Color Rush game, 12s will receive an #ActionGreen rally towel at @CenturyLink_Fld gates.
