WWE Royal Rumble 2017 Live: Results, Best Moments From Pay-Per-View

10:36 p.m.: The Viper is headed to Wrestlemania. Orton hits Reigns with an RKO and then tosses him over the top rope, winning the 2017 Royal Rumble.

10:35 p.m.: Reigns is a man possessed.

10:34 p.m.: Reigns superman punches Jericho out of the competition.

10:32 p.m.: So long, Undertaker.

10:30 p.m.: After a brutal match earlier in the night, Roman Reigns is the last Rumble entrant.

10:28 p.m.: The Undertaker takes care of Goldberg.

10:26 p.m.: The Deadman draws the No. 29 spot.

10:25 p.m.: Looks like Goldberg might have Lesnar’s number.

10:24 p.m.: Who’s next? Goldberg is, at No. 28.

10:22 p.m.: Enzo draws No. 27.

10:20 p.m.: You may have heard of the No. 26 entrant.

10:18 p.m.: Another Wyatt Family member enters at No. 25.

10:16 p.m.: Dolph Ziggler joins the fun at No. 24.

10:14 p.m.: The Viper enters at No. 23.

10:13 p.m.: The New Day sticks together, even in elimination.

10:12 p.m.: The No. 22 entrant, Apollo Crews.

10:10 p.m.: Get your lights out. Bray Wyatt enters at No. 21.

10:08 p.m.: The third member of New Day enters the Rumble. Xavier Woods comes in at No. 20.

10:06 p.m.: Sheamus’ tag-team partner, Cesaro, joins the match at No. 19.

10:04 p.m.: Broken nose and all, Rusev enters at No. 18.

10:02 p.m.: The second member of New Day joins the match, as Big E comes in at No. 17.

10:00 p.m.: After losing his tag-team belt earlier in the night, Sheamus enters at No. 16.

9:58 p.m.: We’re halfway through the entrants, as The Miz enters at No. 15.

9:56 p.m.: Kofi Kingston enters the match at No. 14.

9:55 p.m.: After eliminating seven opponents, Strowman gets eliminated.

9:54 p.m.: Baron Corbin enters at No. 13.

9:52 p.m.: Dean Ambrose joins the match at No. 12.

9:48 p.m.: James Ellsworth comes in at No. 11, with some company.

9:46 p.m.: Tye Dillinger enters at No. 10

9:46 p.m.: That will make things easier.

9:44 p.m.: Well, they don’t call him the “Big Show” for nothing.

9:42 p.m.: Sami comes in at No. 8.

9:41 p.m.: Talk about brute strength.

9:40 p.m.: The No. 7 entrant calls for destruction.

9:38 p.m.: At No. 6, the world’s strongest man.

9:36 p.m.: Gentleman Jack enters at No. 5, but does he really need an umbrella?

9:34 p.m.: Mojo is in at No. 4.

9:32 p.m.: The No. 3 entrant takes the ring.

9:30 p.m.: Coming in at No. 2, Y2J.

9:30 p.m.: It’s time for the main event. It would be hard to miss the first Rumble entrant.

9:15 p.m.:  For the 16th time in his career, John Cena wins a world championship. Cena plants Styles with two consecutive AA’s to become the new WWE champion.

9:05 p.m.: What else can Styles do?

9:00 p.m.: Styles’ forearm apparently wasn’t “phenomenal” enough.

9:00 p.m.: Cena hits Styles with the best he’s got, but the champion manages to kick out.

8:55 p.m.: Styles gives Cena a taste of his own medicine.

8:50 p.m.: In the last bout before the Royal Rumble match, WWE Champion AJ Styles defends his title against John Cena.

8:35 p.m.: Neville makes good on his promise. The challenger forces Swann to tap out, becoming the new cruiserweight champion.

8:20 p.m.: Neville will try to solidify himself as “King of the Cruiserweights” by dethroning the current champion, Rich Swann.

8:05 p.m. Chris Jericho was accounted for, but no one planned for Braun Strowman. Strowman annihilates Reigns, and Owens takes advantage to retain his title.

8:00 p.m.: Superman punch, through a tower of chairs!

7:55 p.m.: Despite being locked away high above the ring, Jericho found a way to intervene by tossing Owens a pair of brass knuckles. Owens used them to hit Reigns with a superman punch, but the challenger somehow kicked out.

7:50 p.m.: Frog splash through the tables!

7:40 p.m.: Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens square off in a “no disqualification” bout for the WWE Universal championship. To avoid interference, Owens’ best pal and United States champion Chris Jericho will be suspended high above the ring in a shark cage.

7:25 p.m: Bayley put up a good fight, but the veteran experience of Flair was ultimately too much. The Raw Women’s champion retained her title, improving her pay-per-view title defense record to 16-0.

7:10 p.m.: We’re underway at the Alamodome in San Antonio! Raw Women’s champion Charlotte Flair defends her title against Bayley.

The road to Wrestlemania 33 starts Sunday night at the Royal Rumble.

The Alamodome in San Antonio will be filled with some of the best superstars in the WWE. The Royal Rumble card is loaded, featuring four title fights, as well as the iconic 30-man Royal Rumble match.
