Ben Simmons Gave Presentation To Sixers Teammates About Australian Wildlife
The Philadelphia 76ers’ unique team breakfast tradition continued Tuesday, when Ben Simmons was given the task of educating his teammates on a topic of his choice.
The rookie guard chose Australia, where he originally is from, delivering a lengthy PowerPoint presentation that addressed everything from geography to the danger of kangaroos, which he apparently demonstrated by showing his ‘mates a famous video of a man attempting to fight the fully-grown animal.
As is tradition at team breakfasts, a player gives a presentation on a topic of their choosing.

So, how did Simmons wind up telling his teammates about kangaroos?
Sixers head coach Brett Brown said back in January the point of these sessions is to build player development and team integration — telling CBS Sports’ James Herbert it’s like they’re “in school and they have a project.”
Once a month, a player collaborates with a Sixers video coordinator to put together the presentation and deliver it to their teammates.
According to CBS Sports, other presentations this season have included Gerald Henderson’s speech on Charles Manson, Dario Saric explaining Croatia’s Civil War and now ex-Sixers big man Jahlil Okafor addressing the issue of paying college athletes.
