Martellus Bennett Absolutely Goes Off On Fans For ‘Dehumanizing’ Athletes

There are Twitter rants, and then there’s what Martellus Bennett did Tuesday afternoon.

The free-agent tight end, who recently was released by the New England Patriots, went off on NFL fans for what he perceives is the dehumanization of professional athletes. Likely upset over the backlash Richard Sherman received for his decision to sign with the San Francisco 49ers, Bennett didn’t hold back, firing off multiple, very NSFW tweets.

Wow.

Does Bennett have a point? Probably. But still, if you want to change the world for good, Twitter probably isn’t the best place to start.
