The New York Jets are expected to select one of the top-rated quarterback prospects with the No. 3 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, and it looks like they also are working toward giving that QB a veteran wide receiver to target.
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported Thursday, citing sources, that the Jets and Terrelle Pryor are nearing a contract agreement.
Free agent WR Terrelle Pryor is closing in on a deal with the #Jets, sources say. They are hammering out final details & should be done tonight. NYJ continues to rework its WRs room with Pryor, formerly of the #Browns and #Redskins.

The Jets announced March 20 that Pryor held a visit with the team.
After a breakout 2016 season with the Cleveland Browns, Pryor struggled to make an impact with the Washington Redskins in 2017. The Redskins chose not to re-sign the 28-year-old wideout after his one-year deal expired.
Pryor tallied 20 receptions for 240 yards and one touchdown in nine games with Washington last season.
