Al Horford evidently has no problem with his team being doubted.
The Boston Celtics were viewed as legitimate NBA Finals contenders through the first half of the season, but a rash of critical injuries has many wondering if the C’s will even make it out of the first round.
But if you think Boston is just going to roll over in the face of adversity, think again.
Horford on idea teams might be hoping to get the 7 seed to play them now: “The only thing I can say to that is I can’t wait until the playoffs start.”

The Celtics will have their work cut out for them in the playoffs without Kyrie Irving and potentially Marcus Smart, but Boston has had a knack for overcoming obstacles all season. Without a clear front-runner in the Eastern Conference, the path is open for essentially any team to make a deep run.
And considering their full body of work throughout the campaign, how can you rule the C’s out as one of those teams?
