Watch Chris Sale’s Epic Bat Flip After Launching Batting Practice Homer

Chris Sale typically is serious as can be on the baseball field, but when the pressure is off, it turns out the Boston Red Sox ace can be quite the showman.

Sale took batting practice Saturday ahead of his Tuesday start in Miami against the Marlins. And while the left-hander didn’t exactly put on an earth-shattering hitting display, he closed his session with a blast into the bleachers, which he celebrated with a pretty boastful bat flip.

You can check out Sale channel his inner Jose Bautista here, courtesy of MassLive.

If Sale somehow connects for a round-tripper in South Beach, we wonder if he’ll bust out the bat flip in an actual game setting.
