The Jets might have produced some bulletin board material ahead of their matchup with the New England Patriots on Sunday.

New York did tone down practice sessions ahead of the rivalry matchup, after all.

Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich decided his team would not have a full practice on Wednesday, according to Brian Costello of the New York Post, partly because their injury list is so long. New York stuck to positional drills and then held a walkthrough, avoiding a full-padded session.

New York was without guard Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle), defensive tackle Leki Fotu (knee) and safeties Tony Adams (hamstring) and Ashtyn Davis (concussion) for the session, while quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee, ankle, hamstring), offensive lineman Morgan Moses (knee), wide receiver Allen Lazard (chest), linebacker Quincy Williams (neck), defensive lineman Will McDonald (shoulder) and cornerback Michael Carter II (back) were all limited.

Rodgers’ hamstring injury “flared up” during the club’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday, according to Ulbrich.
