Belichick pulled off the 'DunKings' tracksuit
Bill Belichick wasn’t standing on the sidelines during Super Bowl LIX, but the legendary head coach nevertheless made an appearance on the broadcast.
Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, made cameos during a one-minute “DunKings” commercial shown after the Philadelphia Eagles’ first offensive possession.
Ben Affleck headlined the group with his brother Casey Affleck as well as Jeremy Strong, a Boston native best known for his role in “Succession.” Belichick and the 24-year-old Hudson, who made headlines earlier in Super Bowl week, joined the group while dressed head-to-toe in “DunKings” tracksuits.
During the commercial, Ben Affleck said Matt Damon and Tom Brady were no where to be found given the pair “don’t have the heart of a champion.” Damon and Brady were in the “DunKings” advertisement last year.
Belichick’s lone quip in the script included a response to the “Barista Buds,” a rival group of the “DunKings.”
“Sounds like what’s in my garbage disposal,” Belichick said.
Shortly after the Super Bowl commercial aired, Dunkin’ posted an extended version title “DunKings 2: The Movie.”
Belichick and Hudson were the talk of the NFL honors after Snoop Dog took a jab at the coach’s girlfriend. Hudson made more headlines Saturday when she trolled the Atlanta Falcons by wearing a Super Bowl t-shirt.
