The Bruins hope to find their groove when they begin the first night of a back-to-back set Tuesday.
Boston is coming off an emphatic win over the New York Rangers at TD Garden on Saturday. David Pastrnak’s heater continued with a hat trick as the B’s superstar continues to keep the Black and Gold competitive in the playoff standings.
The Bruins will get assistance when Mark Kastelic returns to the lineup. The forward missed six games due to an upper-body injury and will replace Cole Koepke in the lineup. Interim head coach Joe Sacco confirmed Jeremy Swayman would start against the Minnesota Wild with Joonas Korpisalo likely to start Wednesday.
Minnesota will be shorthanded Tuesday night. Kirill Kaprizov won’t dress due to a lower-body injury, and Ryan Hartman begins his 10-game suspension for roughing Ottawa Senators forward Tim Stutzle.
Puck drop for the Bruins-Wild matchup at TD Garden is scheduled at 7 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage on NESN after an hour of pregame.
