This Super Bowl Team Took Disrespectful Hit In ESPN’s 2025 Power Rankings

How are the Eagles not higher on the list?

The Philadelphia Eagles conquered the NFL world this season as Super Bowl champions with a victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.

The Eagles went 14-3 in the regular season, won three home playoff games and ended Kansas City’s quest to finish off the NFL’s first ever three-peat in the Super Bowl era. The champions are at the top of the world, but somehow not at the top of ESPN’s power rankings.

ESPN published its early 2025 NFL power rankings and had three teams that did not win the championship ahead of the Eagles. Philadelphia landed at the No. 4 spot behind the Chiefs, the Buffalo Bills and the Detroit Lions.

NESN’s Travis Thomas and Kasey Hudson reacted to the list on the latest episode of the “Boston Has Entered The Chat” podcast.
