Tom Brady and Matthew Stafford had some fascinating matchups during their respective NFL careers. No game stands out more than the 2021 NFC Divisional round when Stafford’s Los Angeles Rams held off a thunderous comeback from Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Now, these Super Bowl champions can benefit each other in a new destination. Brady, in addition to his role as the No. 1 analyst for FOX Sports, is heavily involved in football operations as a minority owner with the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Rams and Stafford are headed separate ways and the veteran can still lead an NFL franchise for a few more seasons. Los Angeles returned to the playoffs in 2024 and Stafford made plays with talented receivers in Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.

Brady reportedly has his sights set on Stafford and hosted him to meet at his Montana estate recently, per FOX Sports insider Jordan Schultz. Perhaps that’s Brady’s way of planting the seeds for the next signal-caller for the Raiders.

The Raiders currently hold the No. 6 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
