In the final regular season meeting between the Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins, the Senators were able to pull out their first season series win since the 2016-17 season. The game, which ended with a score of 6-3, featured two players scoring their first goals as Bruins.

After two Senators’ goals in the first period, newly acquired forward Casey Mittelstadt lit the lamp for his first as a Bruin to halve the score 2-1. Marat Khusnutdinov scored his first as a Bruin in the second period, bringing the score to 5-3.

David Pastrnak scored in the start of the second period, which extended his point streak to four games, and marked the fifth franchise that Pastrnak has scored 20 or more goals against. He has recorded a point in 22 of his last 23 games.
