The New England Patriots aren’t being very secretive about their plans.

MassLive’s Karen Guregian, Mark Daniels and Chris Mason spoke to dozens of coaches, agents, executives and talent evaluators at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine — and came away with serious intel regarding free agency.

Mike Vrabel’s staff is expected to target some specific names once free agency opens next week.

Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Milton Williams, Tennessee Titans edge rusher Harold Landry and Baltimore Ravens offensive linemen Ronnie Stanley and Patrick Mekari will be the primary targets, according to MassLive.

Can you tell they want to sure up the trenches?

Landry currently isn’t scheduled to hit free agency, though that is expected to change if his current team doesn’t find a trade partner. Stanley is the primary target along the offensive line, but there’s a chance he is retained by Baltimore, which is where Mekari comes into the picture. Williams is just a stud, and could provide insurance if Christian Barmore isn’t available.

It’ll be an interesting offseason for sure, but those are the names you should keep an eye on.
