The Bruins prepare to take on the Nashville Predators after an eventful Tuesday.
Interim head coach Joe Sacco revealed Brad Marchand was week-to-week with an upper-body injury. Boston also traded Trent Frederic, who eventually was dealt to the Edmonton Oilers.
The Bruins will need others to step up for the rest of the season. Georgii Merkulov will move up to the second line with Elias Lindholm and Charlie Coyle. Jeffrey Viel slots into the fourth line with John Beecher and Mark Kastelic.
Boston re-assigned defenseman Ian Mitchell to Providence prior to its matchup against Nashville.
Puck drop for the Bruins-Predators matchup is scheduled at 7 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage on NESN after an hour of pregame.
