Sabres Game Is Must-Win For Bruins Dwindling Playoff Chances

While losing Monday’s Saint Patrick’s Day game against the Buffalo Sabres would not mathematically eliminate the Boston Bruins from playoff contention, it would be about as close to elimination as you can get without actually being eliminated.

As the Bruins look to wrap up the regular season, every win counts to have any chance of making the playoff, especially what could be considered an easy win over one of the bottom teams in the League. But the Sabres defeated the Golden Knights 4-3 in the Shootout on Saturday, and have beat two playoff teams in their last three games.
