The Boston Bruins are a despicable-looking bunch this Halloween.
Defenseman Zdeno Chara, aka Gru from “Despicable Me,” went to Boston Children’s Hospital with his minions Tuukka Rask, Torey Krug, Jimmy Hayes and David Krejci to visit patients Wednesday, and they made for a pretty well dressed crew.

The Bruins’ costume-clad trip to Children’s is an annual tradition, and last year they went as characters from “Frozen.” It’s pretty hard to beat former B’s defenseman Dougie Hamilton as Elsa, but giant Gru and his oversized minions definitely give him a run for his money.
