New Jersey Devils forward Bobby Farnham decided to take a run at St. Louis Blues forward Dmitrij Jaskin with the puck nowhere in site, earning himself a major penalty for interference and starting a brawl between the teams Tuesday night.
Three Blues players immediately went after Farnham, who was taken down along the boards. A few other scrums ensued, with one of them producing a short fight between Ryan Reaves and Jordin Tootoo — two players with lengthy NHL fight ledgers.
The punishment for Farnham might not be over. A suspension or fine could be coming his way.
New Jersey's Bobby Farnham will have a hearing today for interference on St. Louis' Dmitrij Jaskin.
