There’s nothing wrong with patting yourself on the back once in a while. But we’re not sure Skip Bayless intended it like this.
The FOX Sports 1 television personality hopped on a Facebook Live video Sunday night to provide some analysis of the Dallas Cowboys-Tampa Bay Buccaneers game. In the middle of said video, though, a rather strange comment appeared.
Funny. Skip Bayless forgot to switch accounts praising himself on a Facebook Live stream pic.twitter.com/WJ22Neleix

Did Bayless just go Ricky Henderson on us and start talking about himself in the third person?
As Cox Media’s Ollie Connolly points out, the likely scenario here is that Bayless — or whoever runs his Facebook account — was trying to pump his own “Undisputed” show, but forgot to switch out of his own account. The result was a hilarious bit of self-promotion that had the internet in stitches.
Would like to congratulate @hoopshype on such a great website. Keep up the good work, guys! https://t.co/BPScHWWQAa

In fact, Bayless’ accidental (?) self-compliment was so embarrassing that many figured it was fake. But we have good news: It’s not.
For those asking about the Bayless tweet. Yeah, it's real. Was DM'ed to me, and @dgoodin24 is the commenter below

It turns out Skip Bayless really just loves himself some Skip Bayless. But you already knew that.
