Tim Thomas Named to Team USA Olympic Roster "I've been waiting 30 years for this opportunity, and I couldn't be any happier."

That was Tim Thomas' response when he was named to the Team USA Olympic roster following the Bruins' exhilarating 2-1 overtime win over the Flyers at Fenway Park on Friday.

The day couldn't have gone much better for Thomas, who earned the win after Boston came from behind as time ticked down in the third period to score the tying goal before eventually prevailing in the extra period. The Team USA roster was announced on the ice after the game, and when his name was called, Thomas emerged from the Red Sox' dugout wearing a USA jersey as the crowd roared.
