Peyton Manning might not get a 2015 rematch against Tom Brady.
The Denver Broncos quarterback will miss Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears because of a partially torn plantar fascia in his right foot, but it was his ribs that concerned coach Gary Kubiak last week.
That same rib injury could be what extends Manning’s absence, including a Week 12 matchup against the New England Patriots, per NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.
One loose end from last week: Peyton Manning's MRI on his ribs came back relatively clean. Being called a strain, but still very painful

More on Peyton Manning & Brock Osweiler coming up, but don't be surprised if it's a multi-week absence for Peyton, audition for Osweiler

While it’s hard to imagine Manning missing a “Sunday Night Football” game against Brady and the Patriots, that seems to be a possibility given Rapoport’s broad timeline.
