Miami Dolphins veteran Arian Foster was one of many running backs injured in Week 2, leaving fantasy football owners scrambling for replacements.
It’s unclear how long Foster will be sidelined, or if he’ll miss any games at all. But it’s still smart to look at the waiver wire just in case.

The best place to find a fantasy replacement for an injured player often is his own team, especially with running backs. The problem in Foster’s case is the Dolphins don’t have a clear-cut choice for the backup role.
Jay Ajayi is the logical next man up, but he’s yet to impress through 10 career games. He didn’t play particularly well in the preseason and he ran for just 14 yards on five carries during Miami’s 31-24 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday. Ajayi also fumbled once, leading to a Patriots touchdown.
Rookie Kenyan Drake from Alabama ran twice for 12 yards, including a fourth-quarter touchdown.

Outside of deep leagues, neither Ajayi nor Drake is worth owning. If Foster sits for any amount of time, the carries in the Dolphins backfield likely will be split until someone proves they’re the main guy.
Ajayi played more snaps, but that could change going forward.
Miami Dolphins RB snaps: Ajayi (37), Drake (18), Foster (10). Should be more Kenyan Drake and Damien Williams Week 3.
