We knew that the Patriots have expressed an interest in Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant, and now we know that the feeling is mutual.
Bryant, who visited New England last week, spoke to SI.com's Peter King about the possibility of becoming a Patriot.
"On TV all these years, I never saw Bill Belichick smile,'' Bryant told SI.com. "But we had a great conversation, and he was smiling a lot. I really liked it there. I think I'd be a good fit there."
Bryant is widely considered the best available wide receiver in the upcoming draft, so the Patriots would have to trade up to select him. Doing so would be far from impossible, though, as the team holds 12 draft picks — including three in the second round.
