Erik Spoelstra Says Members of Miami Heat Were Crying in Locker Room Following Loss to Bulls The Miami Heat sure have come a long way since that over-the-top introduction to the basketball world this summer.

Following Miami's 87-86 loss to the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra revealed that there were players in his locker room shedding tears following the team's fourth straight loss.

The Florida Sun Sentinel's Ira Winderman first tweeted about the teary postgame affair following the setback.

"There are a couple of guys crying in the locker room," Spoelstra reportedly said, according to Winderman.

Winderman again mentioned the tidbit in his postgame story but did not use the quote that he cited in his tweet.

It's not the first time this week the Heat have gotten emotional following another last-minute defeat. After blowing a 24-point lead on Thursday against the Magic, Heat forward Chris Bosh appeared to shed some tears during his postgame news conference.
